After two pregnancies in less than two years, I felt that my body was “not my own.” I was still carrying additional weight from my first pregnancy and then added the post-pregnancy weight from my second child. That left me about 20 lbs over my weight from 3 years ago. I had tried to simply watch what I ate between pregnancies to lose the weight but didn’t see much for results. When I heard about the program, I was intrigued by the educational aspect. I could LEARN how to eat for ME!
I saw results very quickly! The first few days were a learning curve as I had to change the way I thought about food and learn how certain foods fit into the program. However, after a few days, I fell into a nice routine of eating foods appropriate for me. Over time, I have found that I rarely feel hungry, my cravings have decreased and I have more energy to burn (very helpful when dealing with a baby and a toddler!)
I snack less. I look at my meal before me and adjust according to my nutritional needs for the day. I have more energy and generally feel happy about how I look and feel and I have matched the change in eating with a regular exercise program.
The Balanced Body System is the best thing I have found for bettering my body! I have more energy. I feel satisfied. I eat what I need and still have the flexibility to eat what I “want” too. In 3 1/2 months on the program, I have lost at total of 24 lbs and approx. 16 inches. I was unable to achieve a pre-pregnancy weight in 9 months after my first child. This time, I achieved pre-pregnancy weight in just 3 months!
